Welcome to Weather Spectrum. By accessing or using our website, live Doppler radar scanner, weather widgets, or associated APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the service.
⚠️ Critical Life-Safety & Meteorological Advisory Notice
Weather Spectrum aggregates computational numerical weather models (ICON DWD, GFS, ECMWF) and radar feeds (RainViewer, IMD) for public awareness, scientific interest, and daily convenience.
During severe cyclonic storms, extreme flooding, landslides, or severe lightning events, Weather Spectrum should NOT be used as a primary life-safety reference. Always consult and obey real-time official directives issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and local district collectors.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Weather Spectrum. We reserve the right to revise or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Intellectual Property & Permissible Use
The custom user interface design, WebGL-accelerated 20X radar renderer, data collation algorithms, logos, and telemetry visualizations are the exclusive property of Weather Spectrum.
- Personal & Non-Commercial Use: You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view and interact with the radar feeds for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Official Widget Embeds: You may embed our official live radar and weather cards into your third-party website, blog, or news portal, provided you retain the reciprocal hyperlink attribution back to Weather Spectrum.
- Prohibited Actions: You may not scrape, execute high-volume automated scripts, attempt Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, or reverse-engineer our backend proxies.
3. Accuracy of Meteorological Data
Atmospheric dynamics are non-linear and subject to rapid change. Although Weather Spectrum strives to provide the highest-fidelity Doppler radar mosaics and numerical models, we make no warranties, representations, or guarantees—express or implied—regarding the precision, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any forecast or sensor measurement.
4. Advertising & Sponsored Content
To sustain continuous free server infrastructure and high-bandwidth WebGL radar tile serving, Weather Spectrum displays advertisements managed by Google AdSense and authorized ad exchanges. By using our website, you acknowledge that ads will appear on pages as governed by our Privacy Policy.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Weather Spectrum, its creators, contributors, or service hosts be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of weather or Air Quality Index (AQI) data.
- Personal injury, loss of life, or property damage resulting from severe weather events.
- Any interruption or cessation of live radar stream transmission.
